1991 Isuzu Impulse RS
AWD Intercooled Turbo
Here is my latest purchase. It is a 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS. It is a pretty rare find since only about 800 of these cars were ever imported into the US. It was really ahead of it's time using a full-time AWD system with center and rear viscous clutch limited slip differential. The suspension is factory tuned by Lotus. The engine is a 1.6 liter that is factory turbocharged and intercooled. This particular car was a one owner and only has 90k miles. Currently the engine is out of the car awaiting a full rebuild. Big plans are in store with the goal being around 300 hp. I am building this car for my son. I will be adding updates as I go along.
